IT staff augmentation

IT staff augmentation services for your engineering team

Netofficials' IT staff augmentation services add engineers to your team to close a specific skill gap, working inside your tools and process. You talk directly to the technical lead, and IP assignment is confirmed in the contract. Send us your role brief and we will reply with a proposed fit.

Contact
You talk directly to the technical lead on your staff augmentation engagement, with no account manager layer in between.
Ownership
Contract confirms IP assignment before any engineer starts writing code for you.
Communication
We agree the communication window, meeting schedule and update cadence with you before the engineer joins your team.
Team depth
One cross-functional team covers front-end, back-end, mobile, QA and DevOps if your need grows beyond one role.
What you get

Engineers who fit your team, not a new team to manage

Skills added to your own team

You name the gap, whether that is React, back-end, mobile, QA or DevOps, and we match engineers to it. They work in your repositories, tickets and review process, so the capacity you add does not split into a separate delivery stream. You keep day-to-day direction of the work.

Direct access to a technical lead

At Netofficials, the senior engineer who scopes your need also leads the work, and you speak to that technical lead directly. No account manager sits between you and the person answering technical questions, which removes the relay delays that slow most outsourced engagements.

Control of code, contract and cadence

Netofficials confirms IP assignment in the contract before work begins, so the source code you pay for is yours. We also agree the communication window, meeting schedule and update cadence up front, and hand over documentation and deployment access at release.

How staff augmentation starts

From brief to first sprint, you approve every step

  1. Role brief

You tell us the product, the responsibilities and the skills the engineer needs, whether that is React, another front-end or back-end stack, or QA. We turn that into a written role brief and a proposed fit.

    You receive
    • Written role brief
    • Skills and stack checklist
    • Proposed engineer shortlist

You confirm the role brief and the skills required.

  2. Technical review

You check the proposed engineer against your stack and agree the role expectations, the review approach and the communication window, meeting schedule and update cadence before any work begins.

    You receive
    • Technical review notes
    • Agreed role expectations
    • Communication window plan

You approve the proposed engineer before committing.

  3. Onboarding

We plan access to your repositories, tracker and communication tools, and agree who owns what inside your existing team. IP assignment is confirmed in the contract before the build begins.

    You receive
    • Tool and access plan
    • Code and IP ownership map
    • Meeting and update cadence

You sign off the onboarding plan.

  4. First sprint

The engineer starts inside your process, working from a shared backlog, with the technical lead as your direct contact and no account manager in between.

    You receive
    • Shared sprint backlog
    • Sprint review sessions
    • Direct technical lead access

You review the first sprint with your named technical lead.

What to check before an engineer joins

  • Hands-on experience in the languages and frameworks your product already runs on
  • Review habits, pull request standards and reporting agreed with your lead before the first sprint
  • Awareness of your product's technical and delivery constraints, confirmed in a technical review
  • Defined ownership of tasks and decisions, so the engineer slots into your team without overlap
Engagement models

Staff augmentation, dedicated team or fixed project

Dedicated team

A long-term, full-time remote squad assembled for your product, suited to roadmaps that need steady capacity rather than one missing skill.

  • A full-time remote squad assembled for your product alone
  • Agile sprints run with Scrum alongside your product owner
  • Source code and IP owned by you from the start

Staff augmentation

Individual engineers join your existing team and work alongside your people, suited to companies with a clear roadmap and a specific skill gap.

  • Engineers added for a named skill gap, with fit checked before you commit
  • Engineers work in your repositories, tools and review process, and you talk directly to the technical lead
  • Communication window, meeting schedule and update cadence set with you before the first day

Project delivery

A fixed-price build with agreed scope and handover, suited to a defined product when you don't want to manage engineers day to day; we'll recommend a different model after scoping if it fits better.

  • Fixed-price delivery with scope, acceptance criteria and milestones agreed in writing first
  • Documentation and deployment access handed over to you at release
  • Work outside the agreed scope goes through a written change request that you approve
Before you enquire

IT staff augmentation questions, answered

How does Netofficials check fit before we commit to an engineer?

Netofficials checks fit in three steps before you commit: a role brief, a technical review and an onboarding plan that you approve. You tell us the product, the responsibilities and the skills you need, and we propose an engineer against that brief. You then review the role expectations and the technical review approach, and you sign off the onboarding plan. Start by sending the brief through the contact form.

How are cost and communication agreed for staff augmentation?

Cost is quoted after Netofficials reviews the role and scope, so we do not publish fixed rates for staff augmentation. The quote depends on the skills required, how many engineers you add, how long you need them and the systems they will work in. Before work begins we also agree the communication window, meeting schedule and update cadence with you. You then talk directly to the technical lead, with no account manager in between.

Who owns the code, and what if a dedicated team or fixed-price project suits us better?

You own the code: IP assignment is confirmed in the contract before the build begins. Netofficials offers three engagement models: staff augmentation, a dedicated India-based development team and fixed-price project delivery. If your scope shows that a dedicated team or a fixed-price project would serve you better than adding individual engineers, we will recommend it after scoping.

Add the engineers your roadmap is missing

Send us your brief with the skills you need, your tools and the hours you want covered. You get a proposed fit, a technical review before you commit and a written onboarding plan you approve. You talk directly to the technical lead, with no account manager in between. If a dedicated team or a fixed-price project would suit you better, we will say so after scoping.
