React Native development

React Native App Development for iOS and Android

Netofficials delivers React Native app development services that put one shared codebase behind your iOS and Android apps, shaped around the first release that matters. A named delivery lead runs progress and communication, and every sprint ends in a review with you. Send a short brief and we will reply with a proposed scope.

What you get

One React Native codebase, shipped to iOS and Android

Scope the first release

You get a written discovery scope that names your users, the screens and workflows the first release needs, the device features and back-end systems the app must connect to, and what waits for a later release. Cost and timing depend on that scope, so you see the assumptions before any build begins and avoid funding features you have not yet validated.

Architecture and app design

A technical architect is accountable for system design, technology selection and code quality standards. You review the user flows, interface designs and architecture notes before development starts. Navigation, offline behaviour, API contracts and where React Native reuses code between iOS and Android are settled early, which reduces rework once the build is underway.

Build, test and release

One cross-functional team covers front-end, back-end, mobile, QA and DevOps, with a named delivery lead owning progress and communication. Every sprint ends with a client-facing review, and QA runs alongside development. At release you receive documentation and deployment access, so your team can maintain the app. If a fully native build would suit your product better, we will say so after scoping.

Who it suits

Who React Native suits best

  • Founders launching an iOS and Android app without funding two native builds
  • Teams whose web or back-office product needs a mobile companion app
  • Businesses with a live app that needs its next release, or a Swift-only build assessed after scoping

How a React Native project runs

How your React Native app moves from brief to release

  1. Discover

We turn your brief into a written discovery scope covering the app's users, the iOS and Android screens that matter most, and the first release boundary. You review open questions on integrations and device features before anything is built.

    You receive
    • Written discovery scope
    • Open questions list
    • Initial estimate

You approve the written discovery scope

  2. Design

Our team maps the user flows and interface for both platforms, while the technical architect sets the React Native structure, technology choices and code quality standards. You review the designs and the architecture notes together.

    You receive
    • Mobile user flows
    • iOS and Android designs
    • Architecture notes

You sign off the designs before development begins

  3. Build

Developers build the prioritised screens, back-end services and integrations in structured Agile sprints, with QA testing alongside. Your named delivery lead keeps you updated on the cadence agreed at the start.

    You receive
    • Staging app builds
    • Sprint review sessions
    • Device test results

You review the working app at the end of every sprint

  4. Validate

QA tests the app on iOS and Android against the acceptance criteria written into the scope, and you check the results. Any defects are logged and fixed before release is planned.

    You receive
    • Acceptance criteria checklist
    • iOS and Android QA report
    • Tracked issue log

You accept the app against the agreed acceptance criteria

  5. Release

Netofficials deploys the iOS and Android app and prepares the handover. You confirm the release plan, and we hand over documentation and deployment access at release.

    You receive
    • App store release build
    • Handover documentation
    • Deployment access handover

You confirm the release and take over access

Ready to scope your React Native app?

Send a short brief covering your app idea, target platforms and any systems it must connect to, and we reply with questions and a proposed written discovery scope for your first iOS and Android release.

Decisions before estimates

What shapes your React Native scope and estimate

App features, screens and user roles

Your estimate starts with what the app must do. We list the screens, user roles, sign-in and permission rules, and device features such as camera, push notifications or location. Each one goes into the written discovery scope, so you see what drives effort before a figure is agreed and nothing surprises you mid-build.

Integrations, backend and data

Integrations are where React Native estimates most often move. We map the APIs, payment or messaging services, existing back-end systems and data your app depends on. Our cross-functional team covers front-end, back-end and mobile, so a missing endpoint is planned for early, not discovered late.

Store release, testing and handover

Your app has to pass Apple App Store and Google Play review and work across the devices your users hold. We agree acceptance criteria, QA and deployment steps up front, and hand over documentation and deployment access at release. If scoping shows a fully native Swift build would serve you better, we will say so.

Ways to work with us

Choose how your React Native app gets built

Project delivery

Fixed-price delivery of one React Native app for iOS and Android, suited to buyers with a defined first release and a written scope.

  • Fixed price set against a written discovery scope before development starts
  • A client-facing review at the end of every sprint, so you see working app builds as they develop
  • Requests beyond the agreed scope are assessed and agreed with you before any work begins

Dedicated team

A dedicated India-based team covering mobile, back-end, QA and DevOps that keeps building your React Native roadmap release after release.

  • A team that stays with your app roadmap, with a named delivery lead owning progress and communication
  • A named delivery lead who runs day-to-day progress on your React Native app and keeps your product owner informed
  • IP assignment written into the contract before the first sprint, so the app's source code is yours

Staff augmentation

React Native engineers who join your in-house team and work inside your repositories, tools and sprint routine, suited to teams that already own the product direction.

  • React Native engineers matched to the gap you name, such as native modules, performance or app store release builds
  • Code, tickets and releases stay in your repositories and tools, with review responsibilities agreed with your leads
  • Meeting schedule, update cadence and overlap hours fixed with you before the first day of work
Technology we build with

The React Native stack behind your app

Netofficials builds your app in React Native, with the JavaScript or TypeScript layer shared across iOS and Android. Native modules are added only where a device feature needs them. Your technical architect is accountable for technology selection and code quality standards. The backend, database and integrations follow your requirements and existing systems, and we write the stack into the discovery scope before you commit budget, so you know what you are paying for and who can maintain it.

React Native questions to settle before you brief us

What drives the cost and timeline of a React Native app?

Scope drives both. The main factors are the number of screens and user roles, backend and third-party integrations, device features such as push notifications, camera or offline use, and the size of the team the work needs. We set these out in a written discovery scope, with assumptions and review milestones, and you see the estimate before development begins. Send a short brief and we will tell you which factors matter most for your app.

Who owns the source code and IP of the app?

You do. IP assignment is written into the contract before the build begins, so ownership of your React Native code is settled from the start rather than at the end. At release we also hand over documentation and deployment access, which means your own team or another vendor can maintain the app afterwards.

When would you recommend something other than React Native?

We will recommend another approach when your app depends on platform-specific behaviour that one shared codebase cannot serve well. A fully native iOS build in Swift is the usual alternative, and we will say so after scoping rather than push React Native. If you want to compare first, our Swift App Development Services page covers that option.

Brief us on your React Native app

Tell us what the app must do, which systems it connects to and who will use it on iOS and Android. We reply with questions and a written discovery scope that sets out the first release, so you can judge cost, timing and fit before committing. If a fully native Swift build would serve you better, we will say so once the scope is clear.
