Manufacturing software

Manufacturing Software Built Around Your Plant

Netofficials delivers manufacturing software development for operations, IT and digital leaders who need production, quality or inventory processes connected to the systems they already run. One cross-functional team works from a written discovery scope, with a review at the end of every sprint. Send a short brief to start scoping.

Delivery
Your manufacturing software is built from India by a Netofficials team working in structured Agile sprints.
Contact
One point of contact stays with your project while a single cross-functional team handles front-end, back-end, mobile, QA and DevOps.
Ownership
Full IP transfer on completion, so the source code for your plant and production tools is yours.
Reviews
Each sprint ends with a client-facing review, so your operations and quality people see progress as it happens.
What we build

Manufacturing software built around your operation

Shop-floor and production workflows

We build custom software for the steps your plant runs today, such as work-order tracking, production status capture, quality checks and shift handovers. Discovery maps who enters what data and where, so the tools fit how your teams already work instead of forcing a new process on them.

Planning, quality and inventory tools

Disconnected spreadsheets and separate systems slow planning, quality and stock decisions. We develop web and mobile applications and reporting views that put production, quality and inventory information in one place for the people who act on it. The scope is written down and agreed before the build starts.

Integration with your existing systems

Your ERP, machine data sources and other current systems stay in place. We design the interfaces between the systems you name, and agree which data moves, in which direction and why, during discovery. Integrations are scoped early, so their effect on cost and timing is visible before delivery begins.

Questions we answer in discovery

Settle plant data and ownership before we build

  • Which roles, from operators to planners, need to see or change which production records?
  • Which data moves between your ERP, MES, machines and spreadsheets, and who relies on it?
  • Which quality, traceability and review requirements apply, and who confirms them?
  • Who owns security, deployment and ongoing support once the software is live?
Requirements, then implementation

Confirm standards and compliance before we build

Regulatory obligations, certifications and security claims must be established with the relevant stakeholders. This example makes no certification or compliance guarantee.

AreaWhat we settle with your stakeholders
AccessWhich roles use the software, such as operators, supervisors, planners, quality staff and suppliers. We agree permissions, sign-in and any link to your existing identity system.
DataWhich production, quality and inventory records the software captures, how long you keep them, how they move to and from your ERP, MES or machine data sources, and which changes need an audit trail.
StandardsWhich industry standards, customer audits or safety rules apply to your plant. We list them as open questions in the discovery scope, and you confirm them with your quality and compliance owners. Netofficials does not promise certification.
ValidationHow you will accept the finished software: test cases drawn from real shop-floor scenarios, QA results and sign-off against the written acceptance criteria. If another approach suits you better, we will recommend it after scoping.
How we work in manufacturing

Five stages, each with a review before the next

  1. Discover

We map your production workflows, the shop-floor, planning and quality roles involved, and the ERP, MES or machine data the software must connect to. You review the written discovery scope and the list of standards and compliance questions to confirm with your stakeholders.

    You receive
    • Shop-floor workflow map
    • Systems and data inventory
    • Written discovery scope

You agree the written scope and the open questions

  2. Design

We turn the scope into user flows for operators, planners and quality staff, plus a data model, integration approach and architecture. You walk through them with the people who will use the software on the plant.

    You receive
    • Screen and user flows
    • Data and integration model
    • Architecture notes

You approve the design before development begins

  3. Build

One cross-functional team covering front-end, back-end, mobile, QA and DevOps develops in Agile sprints. You see working software on staging at the end of every sprint and give feedback to your single point of contact.

    You receive
    • Working staging build
    • Sprint review sessions
    • QA test results

You review working software at each sprint end

  4. Validate

We test the software against the acceptance criteria you agreed, including integrations and the edge cases your shop-floor processes produce. You check the QA results against each requirement and decide what is ready for release.

    You receive
    • Acceptance checklist
    • QA report
    • Requirements traceability

You sign off the acceptance checklist before release.

  5. Release

We deploy to production with your IT team, planning the cut-over around your shift patterns and any connected systems. We then hand over documentation, source code and system access.

    You receive
    • Production deployment
    • Handover documentation
    • Source code and IP transfer

You confirm the handover before the project closes.

Scope your manufacturing software project

Send a short brief on the plant, quality or inventory process you want to improve, and we reply with clarifying questions, a proposed written scope and the cross-functional team we would assign, or a different recommended approach if one fits better.

Three ways to engage

Pick the engagement model that fits your plant

Project delivery

Suits a manufacturer with a defined problem, such as production tracking, quality checks or inventory visibility, that needs a fixed scope and a clear finish.

  • A written discovery scope that sets out shop-floor workflows, integrations and acceptance criteria before the build
  • A review at the end of every sprint, so your plant, planning and quality teams see working software early
  • Requests outside the agreed scope, such as an extra ERP integration, go through a change request you approve

Dedicated team

Suits a manufacturer or industrial supplier with a long roadmap, for example a set of connected tools for planning, quality and the shop floor that grow release by release.

  • A cross-functional team covering front-end, back-end, mobile, QA and DevOps, matched to your systems and stack
  • Sprints planned with your product owner, each closing in a review of working software
  • Full IP transfer on completion, covering every application and integration built for you

Staff augmentation

Suits an in-house engineering or IT team that already runs its own manufacturing systems and needs extra developers, QA or DevOps capacity inside its own process.

  • Front-end, back-end, mobile, QA or DevOps engineers added where your team has a gap
  • Engineers work in your repositories, issue tracker and release process
  • Overlap hours with your time zone agreed before the first task starts
Cost, ownership and integration

Manufacturing software questions, answered before you enquire

What drives the cost and timeline of manufacturing software development?

Cost and timeline are driven by how many workflows the software covers, how many existing systems it must connect to, how clean the production data is, and how large the team needs to be. A single-line shop-floor tool with one integration is a very different project from a platform spanning planning, quality and inventory. We do not quote a price before we understand this. Netofficials writes a discovery scope first, then agrees assumptions, review milestones and commercial terms with you before the build begins.

Who owns the code, and how will I see progress?

You own the source code: Netofficials transfers full IP on completion, and we confirm the assignment in the contract. You see progress through a client-facing review at the end of every sprint, with a single point of contact from brief to release. Because our India-based team works in structured Agile sprints, the communication window is agreed before work starts, so your plant and IT staff know when to reach us.

Can you integrate with our existing systems and engineers?

Yes. We can build interfaces to the ERP, MES, quality or inventory systems you run today, and the team can work alongside your own engineers, tools and process. We confirm which systems, data sources and responsibilities are in scope during discovery, before design starts. Where a different approach would suit you better, such as configuring existing software, we will say so after scoping.

Send a short brief on your plant software

Tell us which shop-floor, quality or inventory process is holding you back and which systems it must connect to. Netofficials replies with questions and a written discovery scope you can review before any build starts. If another approach would serve you better, we will recommend it after scoping.
